Answer a few questions, and your diary writes itself.
Photos, calendar events, places you stopped by, your steps. From the clues of your day, Yoru the ghostwriter asks about each moment one at a time, then drafts your diary from nothing but what you said.
iPhone with iOS 27 or later
Yoru asks, you answer
Before you write anything, you first remember the day. That is what Yoru helps with.
Clues come together
Photos, calendar events, places you stopped by, steps, sleep and workouts become a list of possible moments. Anything that is wrong can be removed.
Yoru asks
Yoru asks how each moment went. Answer with the keyboard or your voice, skip a question, or say "don't write this." You decide when to stop.
A draft appears
The draft is built only from your answers. Edit it into your own words and confirm, and it becomes that day's entry.
And after you've written
Recaps
Weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly. See how your feelings moved and where you went most, with a short note from Yoru.
A map of the day
Open an entry to see the route you walked and the places you stopped, as dots and lines.
ChatGPT summaries as clues
If you connect ChatGPT, a short summary of what you talked about there that day becomes one more clue. Connecting is entirely optional.
Listening to your dayBETA
When you turn it on, only the kinds of sounds around you (laughter, music, trains) become clues. Audio is never saved.
Your diary stays on your iPhone
Your entries and location records are stored on your iPhone. There are no ads and no tracking.
When AI is needed, iPhones with Apple Intelligence handle it on the device. On iPhones without it, the app sends the information it needs to an external AI service only if you agree.
Pricing
For 7 days after your first interview, everything is free, with no sign-up and no payment. To keep going, you need the monthly plan (an Apple subscription that renews every month). The price is shown on the purchase screen in the app, and you can cancel any time in your Apple ID settings.
